ABOUT
The Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Support group (FVDSS) is a parent group of the LMDSS and serves families in the Chilliwack, Abbotsford, Mission, Aldergrove, and surrounding areas. We host Parent Evenings on the Second Thursday of each month at 7:30 in Abbotsford, B.C. We also do an annual Buddy Walk, Christmas Party, Family Picnic as well as various other activities throughout the year. Watch our Calendar for details! We also run a New Parent Visiting program where we welcome new families who have just welcomed a child with Down syndrome into their lives. If you are a new parent, or know of one, our trained visitors would love to meet with you and offer any advice and support we can. We even have a special gift for you!
