is happy to be presenting
MOVEMENT CLASSES
for those with Down syndrome ages 5-13
with Diane
From the very beginning of life, we learn through moving, and this continues right through our lives. This class will begin with a movement component that involves each child in imaginative movement on a variety of themes, helping them develop a sense of rhythm, the ability to move together with others, opportunities for leadership and sharing, and to explore a theme. The last half of each class will involve a fine motor activity related to the theme, challenging the development of more refined fine motor skills. The classes will be led by Diane Hobelaid, who is both an occupational therapist and a trained dance/movement therapist.Ages: 5 – 13
Dates: Fridays May 3 – June 21, 2019

Fee: FVDSS Members – Free
Non-FVDSS Members – $25
