Assistive Dogs – A service dog is a type of assistance dog specifically trained to help people who have disabilities. Those disabilities may include visual difficulties, hearing impairments, Post Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), seizures, ambulatory issues, mental illness, diabetes, autism, and more. (S.T.A.R.)Special Training and Recreation Club – S.T.A.R. Club provides respite for families of children and teens with special needs. The program has a 2:1 staff to participant ratio so the youth gets lots of individual attention. It is one of the strengths of the program.


We provide a group respite program for two groups of ten children with cognitive delays, ages 6 to 12 years of age. The program runs alternate Saturdays.
