We welcome Dr. Carolyne Hiebert from Pacific Life Chiropractic speaking to us about Chiropractic therapies. Dr. Carolyne Hiebert is proud to have a family wellness practice with a focus on infant and child chiropractic care.
Dr. Carolyne Hiebert has the privilege of working with children with varying needs, whether it is working with children with Scoliosis, Down Syndrome, Cerebral Palsy, Autism or Sensory Processing Disorders her skill and expertise as a chiropractor allow her the ability to gently work with the spine in order to maximize nervous system function for the child so they can THRIVE.
  • Parents see the difference;
  • teachers see the difference and the
  • children most importantly FEEL the difference in having a nervous system functioning at 100%!
The At Home Program through the B.C. Ministry of Children and Family Development provides medical benefits including chiropractic services for children and youth with severe disability. This program we work with in office to aid your child in receiving care through this funding.
As a child begins to grow and develop, the spinal structures are growing and changing too. Spinal assessments and specific adjustments allow the body to develop to potential without additional stress. As minor traumas and injuries occur during early and late childhood the spine and nerves become affected even when symptoms are not present. Chiropractic care is an essential part of any child’s healthy growth and development. The top three changes parents report for their children after being under care are:
  • Better overall mood of the child
  • Better sleep patterns
  • Increased immune system function

As a support group, parents get together on a monthly basis to chat, discuss, connect, and generally support one another with knowledge and ideas to help us through certain challenges of raising a child with special needs. Join us for a casual evening and meet other parents from our community. You are welcome to check out our Lending Library for any resources you may find helpful and interesting. Refreshments will be served.
Thank you for your interest. Registration is now CLOSED.
The Down Syndrome Centre is supported by a grant from the Abbotsford Community Foundation Smart & Caring Community Fund
