Disneyland – If you go to Disneyland or Disneyworld, check with the Customer Service counter before entering the gates as they give a pass to persons with disabilities who do not have the ability to stand in line. This pass enables the person in question, and the family accompanying them, to go to the front of the line on all rides.


Easter Seals Camp– offers funded camps for children between the ages of 6 and 18.

Inspirations School of Dance and Fine Arts

– Special Needs Dance Special Needs Dance is a mix of Ballet, Jazz and Musical Theatre. Classes will be fast paced and fun to keep students interest. We are very excited to be offering classes for special needs students and the teacher is an Early Childhood Educator with Special Needs specialties. We hope to offer classes that will be more accessible to our special needs students, that they can enjoy their class without always having to be singled out as the one who is getting trouble. All students will get to perform onstage at our Year End Show in June.

Little Heroes Hockey Academy – a program specifically designed to offer an opportunity for children ages 5-15 with developmental delays to participate in ice hockey.  Our goal is inclusion!  A place where all kids feel welcome and encouraged to pursue the game they love.

Special Olympics – for a nominal yearly fee offers a variety of sports for people with disabilities over the age of 8 – there is no maximum age.

The FUNdamentals program is offered to 7-10 year olds.

STAR – Abbotsford – The STAR program assists children and youth, aged 6-18 years, with developmental disabilities to increase their self-esteem by providing opportunities to meet new friends and to participate in a variety of recreational activities, while learning new skills.
