Lending Library

The Fraser Valley Down Syndrome Society (FVDSS) is a parent-run support group based in Abbotsford, B.C. for families of persons with Down syndrome in the Langley to Hope areas (including Pitt Meadows and Maple Ridge). Our Parent Evenings are held on the Second Thursday of each month Sept. - June in Abbotsford, B.C. We sometimes have guest speakers at these evenings, and our Lending Library is always available during this time. As well as our Parent Evenings, we organize family events to foster friendships between the people with Down syndrome, their siblings, and their parents. In our New Parent Visiting program we welcome new families who are expecting or have just welcomed a child with Down syndrome into their lives, provide them with information and offer support.
